About this course

Using Artificial Intelligence for Free on Your Phone — A Course for Young People (Ages 12–18).

  • Duration: 8 hours · 4 sessions of 2 hours (or 6 shorter sessions if power/connectivity require it).
  • Language of delivery: English (with examples in local languages).
  • You need: a smartphone with data (sharing in pairs is fine) and curiosity.

A note on the age range: 12–18 is wide. Younger learners (12–14) work best with creative, study-focused, closely guided activities. Older learners (15–18) can go further into research, coding basics, projects, and thinking about their future. Facilitators should adjust the depth of each module to the group.

Pass mark: 75% on every test. A diploma is awarded automatically when you complete all lessons and pass all tests.

  5. Module 4 — AI for School and Real Life (2 hours)
  6. Module 5 — Staying Safe & Being Smart (1 hour 15 min)
  7. Module 6 — Project & Celebration (45 min)
